Recruitment:• Assisting district/store management with the sourcing and hiring of positions across Quebec.• Managing the job posting process, performing screening calls and recruitment interviews, as well as scheduling candidates for Managers.• Conducting follow-up activities with candidates including no interest letters, second interview coordination, and maintaining close contact with candidates.• Handling background checks, reference checks, and following up on new hire paperwork for internal/external candidates.• Developing and executing creative recruitment strategies including recommending publications targeted for recruitment activities.• Establishing relationships with educational institutions to improve company visibility on campus by coordinating career fairs and other hiring activities.Training & Development:• Following up with employees for completion of various training certificates such as WHMIS, TDG, First-Aid, Forklift Operations, etc.• Maintaining relationships with certification organizations such as with the CNESST.• Entering data as well as keeping track of training course completion and missing documents.
