Head of the outsourced administration and unit registry division of MSC Group (Brisbane based role). This division provides tailored outsourcing accounting and administration solutions to fund managers across Australia. I was responsible for scoping, onboarding and management of all BAU deliverables for this business unit. I also worked on business development by attending initial meetings with clients to understand service scope and prepare proposals. I worked with the internal finance team to ensure internal budgets, invoicing etc, was completed for board reporting. This was a hands on role involving setting up a new business unit along with building a new accounting and registry team.

Responsible for assisting fund managers with the establishment and financial reporting of institutional funds and mandates in the water and agriculture sector. Core areas involved fund accounting, managing external audits, corporate accounting for manager entities along with maintaining unit registers and investor reporting. I was responsible for managing a small finance team. Also responsible for various software and system oriented projects as well as AFSL license financial compliance for trustee entity.Assisting the corporate finance team with budgeting, cashflow forecasting and monitoring.

Responsible for corporate accounting of international companies including monthly and quarterly management accounts. Ensuring compliance around GST and income tax returns. I left this role to relocate to Brisbane.

Part time role, responsible for financial reporting, managing external audit and tax compliance for 2 listed investment entities. Key achievement was the implementation of new accounting software.

Managed a portfolio of boutique investment funds and listed investment companies. I was responsible for setting up new funds and administering both the financial reporting as well as unit registry functions. Key part of the role was reviewing unit prices, distribution calculations, rebate calculations, GST returns and statutory financial statements. I also reviewed investor applications and redemptions. As part of the operations of funds, I also reviewed and approved payments.Additionally I was responsible for the internal corporate accounts for Whiteoutsourcing, ensuring invoicing to clients was completed on a timely basis. I was also involved in drafting budgets and cashflows for this entity.As part of my role, I also completed financial compliance reporting in relation to the company's AFSL license.I managed a team of accountants completing performance reviews and assisted management with recruitment, onboarding and training new staff.
