My father lived his dream through me. I became a flight attendant because of him, for him.Still in college and just before been flown away for the training, I remember telling my folks "Oh! I will see how and where it goes!" POOF!!!! Fast-forward 16 years. Contrary to what I felt, believed and knew so little then, I gravitated towards the whole 'Customer Service Universe' quite effortlessly.From being a part-timer at a call centre, to progressively and proudly donning the Cabin Crew Manager uniform at two of India's best full service airlines to a 'cute' stint at a Preschool, my journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.Now onwards and upwards to carve a new path, soar different skies and it all still feels oddly satisfying. I yearn to learn more. I yearn to learn something different.I credit my father: for my discipline, organisational skills, resourceful and meticulous nature.A shout-out to my sister and my partner: for my 'Never say No' attitude and a 'Do-er' mindset.I thank my professions: for my customer-obsession, my knack for anticipation and being omnipresent, for inculcating me with a calm, cool and composed demeanor in the midst of all the fire-fighting.I am grateful to my peers, colleagues and the younger teammates- for inspiring and lending me a small streak of their kindness, compassion and empathy and fueling my purpose to leave behind a better world.Feel free to connect with me via LinkedIn.
