Priya is the Non-executive Director at Vedanta, world's leading natural resources company and she is chairperson of Hindustan Zinc Limited - one of the Vedanta group companies.She has been a key pillar in strengthening ESG and HR practices in the organization and has played a valuable role in Vedanta's brand story. Her love for animals and passion to bring a change in the society has driven her to lead a variety of CSR initiatives which has touched thousands of lives. Priya has experience in Public Relations with Ogilvy & Mather and in Rediffusion Y&R. She is also the founder of YODA and TACO - animal welfare organisation.Priya is passionate about animals, child nutrition and gender neutrality. She is currently working on providing equal opportunities to women and children in rural India at grassroots level.
