Management of all testing activities for a Smart Metering implementation across multiple projects within British Gas Phase 3 Smart metering domain, including waterfall agile projects relating to SAP-ISU,MDUS,Head End,Metering assets and HHT and thus interfacing with key suppliers including Trilliant, Landis+Gyr,OSIsoft and SAP.

The project involves multiple stakeholders engaged in the introduction of Smart Metering for leading Utility as part installing smart meters in all households in the UK. This involves understanding and analysing the project requirement, follow guidelines from requirement specifications and testing. Liaising with third party suppliers for both OEM and software, integrating and testing. Development of system Verification Test Plans, Field Acceptance test plans for SDH/SONET Products by referring to the Standards. Requirements to test case mapping, preparation of traceability matrix, support/maintenance of product management system in terms of writing and reviewing test cases.Black box system level verification of software as well as the hardware which involves understanding the technology, products architecture and design.Testing & Maintenance of SDH/SONET and Optical Networking Equipments. Testing of Ethernet over SDH (EOS) for data communication over SDH/SONET using GFP framing protocols. This involves verification of Ethernet traffic, LCAS, VCAT functionality, alarms and performance related to Ethernet over SDH.
