As founders, we were very clear that we want to build a business that was profitable and when we saw signs that this market was not going to scale at the rates required, we realised it was time to pivot. It was a great learning experience, the most unique of all was being able to admit to ourselves that the business model did not work in India and we had to move on and that that was ok. All our 'mistakes' were made quick and fast, which made the damage less impactful and we were sure never to make the same ones again.
