As a curious educational professional and writer, I have had the opportunity of being trained in diverse roles in English Language Teaching and writing. While beginning as an editor with leading publishers, I have edited and developed ELT books, which led me in my keen interest to understand its theoretical and functional aspects. This was reinforced and streamlined while applying my learnings at the grassroots level when I taught first-generation students of government schools and assisted their teachers with remedial services. Over the brief course of my career spanning over 8 years, I have assisted teachers in their professional development, led discussions with stakeholders, and devised various learning and assessment modules in the K-8 domain. My core areas of expertise include content & curriculum development for ELT, Early Childhood Education, and developing ELE materials for large-scale assessments across diverse boards in Southeast Asia and in the country.I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals with whom I can learn more and contribute better.
