Research scholar (regular) at the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, NIT Silchar. The primary objective of the research includes:· To understand the importance of affect representation methodologies used in EEG-based emotion recognition tasks.· Evaluate the effectiveness of state-of-the-art feature extraction techniques used in EEG-based emotion recognition.· To thoroughly investigate different EEG bands and their interrelation in emotion identification.· Establish a subject-specific temporal emotion localization and feature extraction framework based on the EEG frequency bands.· To develop a subjective spatiotemporal emotion localization and classification framework for EEG-based emotion recognition.

Working as a chair for the IEEE Student Branch Chapter NIT Silchar, which is a joint student branch chapter of three IEEE societies, namely the Instrumentation and Measurement Society, the Control System Society, and the Signal Processing Society. I have been actively involved in organizing different technical talks at the institute in collaboration with the IEEE Silchar subsection and also have been guiding students to get into IEEE membership.
