With this project, I am working further on my involvement in bridging Design and Advanced Materials towards a market-oriented product development approach . I am currently working on a project involving Graphene and its use as a biosensor in the treatment and management of chronic disease.My responsibility includes planning and conducting detailed studies of its contextual use (environment and human factors) and feeding the scientific research and design teams with relevant feedback to fast track the concept from lab to market.

At Launch Nordic, I worked on creating deep insight into material manufacturing, compliance and life cycle management in the textile industry with a special focus on Asian manufacturers. I helped evolve a comprehensive list of key stakeholders in the global textile industry and define what radical innovation could mean in this framework. Key assignments included contributions at the Big Think forum and Launch Summit in Spring 2014.

Consulted the State Governemnts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala on two independant projects to develop the weaving clusters of Thirubhuvanam (silk weaving) and Kannur (cotton weaving) for export development. Responsibilities included assimilating a widespread understanding of the socio-economic conditions of the weaving clusters and the implications of previous policies. Based on this, an informed design process had to be initiated to implement strategic intervention at both quality and visual design levels.

Formerly Isex Fashions. Company name changed to EVOLV CLOTHING COMPANYDesigner on the creation and prototyping of apparel & textiles for brands like Napapijiri, Kenzo, Faconnable, Armani, Malboro etc. Developed merchandise and a style guide for a new brand called Laboratory.

Travelled and photographed widely for an indepth study of Parsi Zoroastrain textiles for UNESCO Parzor. (now Parzor Foundation). My work resulted in a monograph titled "Painting with a Needle"150 pages, over 350 photographs and 150 illustrations after this research period.
