I’ve spent the past decade working at the intersection of policy, planning, and organizing, fighting for environmental and climate justice solutions that put frontline communities at the center. At the Green New Deal Network, I support state coalitions with research and capacity building to advance bold climate campaigns. Before that, I managed community-partnered planning and design projects at Hester Street. At the NYC Environmental Justice Alliance, I helped pass transformative policies like the NYC Waste Equity Law, the NYC Climate Mobilization Act, and the NYS Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act.I’m also a board member at BK ROT, a youth-led, bike-powered community composting organization, and I earned my Master’s in Urban Planning from Hunter College after organizing with NYU Divest during my undergraduate years at NYU. When I’m not working, you’ll find me bikepacking, painting pet portraits, or shaping clay into ceramics.
