I joined Animation College in 2016 as an Animation Lecturer, which is now the Yoobee College of Creative Innovation. I have been teaching in Diploma and Degree programmes sharing my knowledge, skills and experience and preparing young talent for the New Zealand and global creative industry. Additional to the teaching role I have been involved in many other roles and activities.Key responsibilities and involvements:Teaching and supervision in Bachelor of Animation Programme.Teaching and supervision of third-year Capstone Projects.Honour's supervision.Programme and academic team coordination across campuses.Assessment grading and moderation.Programme development and assessment design.Member of the Research Committee.Member Programme Committee (Animation College)Programme Coordinator (Animation College)Participate in various panels such as NZQA External evaluation and review, NZQA Consistency Review, Programme Approval and Accreditation.

The diploma of Digital Creativity programme is a foundation programme that covers a little bit of everything from the worlds of creative and digital design. Areas of teaching include concept design, 3D design, video production and game design. Also, I was responsible for assessment marking, moderation and development of teaching materials and resources.

I joined Cirkus as an Animator and worked on various exciting 3D projects with a highly skilled team of creatives. I was involved in various stages of the production and practised a generalist role which requires a broader knowledge of production, and skill. During my time at Cirkus, I played a creative as well as a technical role which involved modeling, texturing, animation, rigging, simulations (particle, cloth, fluid, rigid body) and also lighting, rendering and compositing.

Business Image Group, also known as BIG is a creative agency in Male, Maldives. I worked as a graphic designer at BIG and also worked as a 3D Artist at Skylight Workshop, a sister company of BIG. Responsibilities include developing advertising campaigns and advertising material for clients. 3D design, visualisations and animation, video production and visual effects.

Lead a small team of creatives to produce 3D architectural visualisations. I was responsible for creative direction, technical direction and project management. This role developed my skills to solve technical and creatively complex problems and manage the production in order to deliver projects on time.I was also part of the web and graphic design teams.

Collaborated with a highly talented and diverse team of designers to develop advertising campaigns and advertising material for major brands and products in Sri Lanka. Challenging yet rewarding experience bringing new ideas to life using imagination and creativity.

Key responsibilities were to tutor multimedia courses. Delivered training in HTML, CSS, Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator.Also responsible for updating and maintaining organisation's website.
