As a member of an elite operations team providing administration and level 3 support for 40+ distinct networks/platforms in Telstra, which consist of over 4000 devices. When it comes to IP Networking, Network Security Operations plays the role of "the firewall team", as almost all firewall clusters and security related network infrastructure including routers, switches and load-balancers are managed by us. Primary escalation point for SEV1/2 incidents and take ownership of the incident lifecycle.- Proactive Reliability Engineering Proactive monitoring of all managed networks through automation, using applications written and maintained by the team using languages like Python, VBS and ASP.
