Dfam (Design Engineer For Additive Manufacturing) Engineer
Current- Perform research to improve part quality and performance including parameter development, material changes, geometry improvements and topology optimization
- Develop Design for Metal Additive methodology for printability assessment and optimization.
- Support product validation tests, development of design criteria and design templates
- Develop solutions using CAD modeling and conducting structural/thermal calculations and FEA/CFD simulations to determine components performance
- Design the product/components, perform computational analysis, support prototyping and testing of the product at in-house manufacturing units
- Extract requirements and determine steps to implement reference design implementation or design modifications of existing product.
