• Perform research to improve part quality and performance including parameter development, material changes, geometry improvements and topology optimization• Develop Design for Metal Additive methodology for printability assessment and optimization. • Support product validation tests, development of design criteria and design templates • Develop solutions using CAD modeling and conducting structural/thermal calculations and FEA/CFD simulations to determine components performance• Design the product/components, perform computational analysis, support prototyping and testing of the product at in-house manufacturing units• Extract requirements and determine steps to implement reference design implementation or design modifications of existing product. • Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide designs that are competitive and cost effective.• Involved in Design, analysis, material selection, and manufacturing process planning including detailed cost analysis• Think-outside-the box from traditional design methodologies in order to develop novel designs in order to take advantage of AM capabilities• Involving in technical discussions within the team and cross-functional teams• Document and report active project status in design reviews and completed projects
