Working as Senior Officer in the Contracts and Procurement Department at the Petrochemical Complex of GAIL with the job responsibilities of : Vendor Development/Procurement :Strengthening existing vendor source and developing alternate source of suppliers. Evaluating & negotiating with vendors for price & various other terms & conditions. Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc.  Stores:Managing store activities comprising of incoming material finished goods, raw materials and consumables from receipt to issue Inventory & Disposal Management:Managing the inventory for material/ finished goods at plant & project sites. Monitoring the availability of material so as to ensure smooth supply to production to facilitate achievement of production targets. Ensuring adherence to the minimum inventory level to minimize wastage. Fixation of reserve price of scrap based on market trend. Disposal of scrap through auction. Release of sale order and delivery of goods to customer. Data Analysis and MIS:Analysis of data generated from SAP based on day to day requirement basis.
