 Prepared and Reviewed PPAP documents, which includes Process flow diagram, FMEA, Control plan & work instruction. Supplier PPAP for various categories of components which includes new product development, tool/die changes at supplier end, material/process change, supplier’s location change components. Onsite supplier evaluation for production pilot run which includes system, process and product audit Helped to established common inspection method at company & suppliers level Co-ordination between Production & Design department to create action points for continual PPM reduction Responsible for procurement of direct material like die casting, rubber parts, machined parts, press parts, fasteners, springs, forgings and packing material.  Responsible for evaluation and selection of the most appropriate suppliers, consolidating requirements to get maximum advantage in purchasing. Negotiation of rates and preparation of annual rate contracts with guaranteed savings, resolving all the quality and delivery related issues with suppliers, monthly scheduling, and ABC Analysis & SOB management. Costing Competency in zero base costing of forging, die casting, press parts, machined parts, rubber & plastic components.  Cost reduction through alternate source & VA/VE Projects  Policy of inventory norms, systematic material flow with standard packaging, proper scheduling with demands, Selecting proper mode of transportation for direct raw material, Negotiating rate with Logistic companies, Making contract with logistic companies.
