She started her career in the telecom sector, supporting companies like Airtel-BhartiTelcom, BSES and Aksh launch products and services relating to Wired, WILL, DLC, Broadband, IPTV and VoIP for the first time in India.Priyanka had also spent significant time with the automotive and manufacturing industry both in India and abroad (Allison Transmissions and Spyker N.V.) Priyanka had established a High End Automotive R&D center in India for Formula 1 Sports and Ultra luxury Cars and had designed and rolled-out the International M.Tech program with Manav Rachana Engineering College for young engineers to felicitate Indian engineer to work on-site on real time project. She also created the Strategic roadmap to sell automatic transmissions technology to the Indian OEMs and STU’s.She has also spent some quality time with the aviation sector where she had planned and developed strategies to launch Hawkers Business Jets in India in association with Interglobe General Aviation.After more than a decade of industry experience Priyanka founded Star Marketing in 2011.The company supports partners in double digit sales growth though various trade promotion programs and other initiatives.She currently serves on the Board of a couple of start–ups and Investor Forums and also works as an independent consultant.Priyanka believes that Entrepreneurship has to be driven by passion to solve business problems and it is more rewarding when you’re passionate about what you do. It means you can take a fresh look at it every day and not get burnt out and strive each day to fulfill your dreams a secret in stressful times.”Priyanka holds an M.Sc in International Marketing from the University of Leeds, U.K. and was the recipient of the prestigious International Students Scholarship in 2002.
