❏ Overseeing New Credit applications and credit appraisal process in terms of the credit policy❏ Reviewing Master Lease Agreement & making customer-specific changes in order to ensure the legal & financial cover before entering into an agreement❏ Opening credit account upon receipt of all the required identity & financial documents as per the agreement❏ Making sure that invoices are sent to the customers on time ❏ Ensuring timely collection of dues from customers based on the credit period❏ Preparing Ageing Report on time in terms of the credit policy of the company❏ Presenting collection targets based on Ageing Report to Credit Controller❏ Maintaining a register of advance deposits and PDC cheques received & deposited ❏ Maintaining dispute master & resolving disputed invoices with the help of invoicing & sales team. Also, highlighting unresolved disputes to the credit controller for management decision making❏ Prepare to call schedule & pay regular visits to customers in order to ensure the timely collection & maintenance PR❏ Preparing collection reports and verifying cash receipts on a daily basis❏ Allocation of receipts against the invoices so as to identify the open invoices ❏ Disposal of CC disputes in liaison with CC intermediaries❏ Accounting for receipts, credit /debit notes & bed debts❏ Suggesting management for the creation of adequate bad & doubtful debt provision based on the payment history, trade reference & relationship
