Priyanka Sharma, MPH, is a public health professional with over 4 years of experience in program management and implementation research to improve oral healthcare in marginalized communities. Priyanka has developed and operationalized community oral healthcare programs from evidence-based research. She ensured that over 10,000 elementary school children received routine, preventive dental care by engaging community stakeholders to triple program enrollment. Her efforts led the grant to receive a Certificate of Achievement for the highest percentage of children examined in the 2021-2022 school year. Ms. Sharma has authored 3 scientific articles on exercising cultural competency in healthcare and on maternal, nutritional, and oral health disparities in underserved communities, offering implementable actions to increase access to culturally competent and equitable healthcare.
