Commodity- Die Casting/Powder Metallurgy/Sheet Metal• Currently looking after developing and sourcing High-Pressure Die-Casting/Powder Metallurgy parts. • Making commodity strategy based on Spend Analysis and vendor Performance in line with Quality, Cost, Delivery and management, and much more. • Zero Based Costing of parts according to design, Machine Hour Rate, Tonnage of PDC, Raw Material Base, and other profits and Overhead costs. • Settling raw material and foreign exchange fluctuation in line with market trends with all the vendors. • Implementing Cherry-picking techniques for standardizing and benchmarking the product costs of the commodity. • Monitoring and increasing the capacity of child parts in line with the customer forecast & new project volumes according to the lead time & PONR (Point of no return) & ensuring 100% commitment to volumes forecast. • Looking after Engineering change notes and process change requests from suppliers & coordinating internally for related approvals to mitigate any of the risks on the supply chain. • Identifying the VA/VE Ideas in the product & implementing them for better cost, quality, or any risk on the supply chain (If any). • Benchmarking the supply chain route like standardizing the route of procurement of parts according to the region of vendors & customer. • Coordinating with the Supply Chain team & ensuring 100% deliveries of child parts according to the customer schedule. • Sound in SAP-MM Module, Making Purchase Orders, CAPEX Tooling POs, Service POs, etc.
