As a UI/UX intern, I worked on a project for the Ministry of Rural Affairs, where I was tasked with developing a website allowing self-help groups and artisans from all across India to sell the products they create. The goal was to create a platform for these groups to connect with potential customers, grow their businesses, and ultimately improve their livelihoods.Throughout the project, I was responsible for conducting user research and creating user personas to better understand the needs and goals of our target audience. I used this information to develop wireframes and prototypes to test different design ideas and features.To create an engaging and intuitive user experience, I worked closely with the development team to ensure that the website was easy to navigate, responsive, and visually appealing. This involved designing an intuitive product listing page, developing a streamlined checkout process, and implementing features like user reviews and ratings to build trust and credibility among buyers.Overall, this project was an exciting opportunity to apply my UI/UX skills to a real-world problem. I'm proud to have contributed to a project that has the potential to make a difference in the lives of self-help groups and artisans across India.

As an assistant designer, I've had the amazing opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that have been focused on couture and bridal fabrics, as well as luxury garments. Throughout my time in this role, my responsibilities have included working collaboratively with the head designer to create sketches and mood boards, sourcing fabrics and materials, and assisting with various aspects of the production process.When it comes to couture and bridal fabrics, I've been able to work on some truly stunning designs for gowns and formalwear. I've had the chance to experiment with a range of different fabrics, such as silk, lace, organza and tulle, and incorporate intricate details like beading, embroidery, and appliques into my work.On top of fabric design, I've also had the chance to help design luxury garments like jackets, dresses, and suits. Working closely with the head designer, I've had a hand in creating sketches and technical drawings, sourcing high-quality fabrics and materials, and ensuring that each garment is produced to the highest possible standards of quality.Overall, my experience as an assistant designer has been incredibly rewarding. It's allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the couture and luxury fashion industry, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to create beautiful, high-quality garments and fabrics that are both functional and stylish.

As a textile design intern, I was tasked with developing the prints and silhouettes for a Spring/Summer 2019 menswear collection that was inspired by the state of Meghalaya in India. Meghalaya is known for its beautiful landscapes, diverse culture, and traditional textiles.To begin my design process, I extensively researched Meghalaya's textile history, traditional patterns, and cultural significance.After gathering all the necessary information, I started sketching my ideas for prints and silhouettes. I wanted to incorporate Meghalaya's traditional patterns and colors in a modern way. I experimented with different motifs and color combinations to create unique and visually appealing designs. The colours I used were inspired by Meghalaya's vibrant landscapes, such as green forests, blue rivers, and red sunsets.
