At just 20 years old, I am proud to be one of the youngest wildlife conservationists from India, passionately advocating for effective wildlife management, sustainable use, and indigenous rights. I am driven by the belief that balanced, sustainable solutions can resolve human-wildlife conflicts and benefit both biodiversity and local communities.As the Co-Founder of The Wild Origins, an organization focused on human-animal conflict and ethical wildlife management in India, I have collaborated with NGOs, government agencies, and international partners to implement strategies that mitigate conflicts and empower indigenous communities.Currently, I am in my final year of studying BSc (Hons) Wildlife Conservation at Nottingham Trent University, where my research explores the ethics and science of hunting as a conservation tool. I have honed my skills in conservation ecology, biodiversity assessment, and wildlife management, and I am excited to continue applying these in real-world conservation initiatives.Alongside my academic and organizational work, I am a certified venomous reptile handler and rehabilitator, having rescued and relocated over 1,500 venomous snakes, significantly reducing human-snake conflict in urban areas.With extensive hands-on experience in ecological survey techniques, GIS, species management, and community-driven conservation, I am committed to making a global impact in wildlife conservation and sustainable development.
