Provided design and construction teams with sustainability consulting in order to achieve the desired green building certification. Developed energy models in order to determine the energy conservation measures required to comply with the Toronto Green Standard. Successfully achieved a Green Globes certification on a housing development in Borden, Ontario.

Guelph, Ontario

Conducted over fifty pedestrian level wind assessments on large developments around the world. These assessments required wind tunnel testing to determine the exterior wind environment around the development in order to measure pedestrian comfort and safety. Conducted a rainwater assessment on a Google Building in California. This project involved a full-scale mock-up of a 2 by 2 PV array. The rainwater infiltration into this array was measured and modeled through a CFD simulation.Studied the impact of wind on a vertical forest in Nanjing, China using pressure sensors on a scale model.

· Collected and compiled information from numerous data loggers connected to sensors in several greenhouses and developed energy models to determine correlation of interior climate with outdoor climate· Independently used MATLab and Excel to develop code which analyzed sensor information obtained from data loggers and determined the amount of diffused and direct light that is being emitted on the greenhouse and find correlation between greenhouse and weather conditions· Created graphical representation of data to illustrate correlation of indoor and outdoor climate conditions

· Conducted energy audits of HVAC systems in over thirty municipal facilities with the assistance of building staff· Studied Conservation and Demand Management plans from other municipalities to develop best practices for recreational facilities · Determined greenhouse gas emissions from past years using utility data and conversion rates for natural gas, electricity and district heating and cooling as required by the Ministry of Ontario Green Energy Act· Identified sustainable methods of conserving energy within the municipality using data analysis through an energy management software called UtilityTrac

· Analyzed data files to examine efficiency and lifespan of mechanical cranes at CN Rail terminals across Canada using pivot tables, VLOOKUP in Microsoft Excel· Inspected project site daily to ensure work was being completed on schedule
