I gained useful practical experience in a wide variety of HR-related areas throughout my summer internship as an HR trainee. This included developing hands-on experience in the hiring process, where I actively took part in finding candidates, doing preliminary screenings, and assisting with the selection process. I also contributed significantly to the careful upkeep of personnel records as well as essential support for HR administrative tasks such as documentation and filing.In addition, I thoroughly studied the workings of a biometric system, which helped to improve data management and attendance tracking procedures. Apart from my administrative duties, I also actively participated in planning team-building exercises and events to promote a cooperative work atmosphere.Additionally, by helping with the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, I made a significant contribution. this involved managing the offboarding process and interviewing departing staff to get insightful comments and recommendations for ongoing development.
