Priya Ravindra Kalyanimath is an advocate of gender diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity for women. Punar is innovating, pioneering the blend of traditional handloom with modern recycled yarns and writing a good new story.Priya is an accredited Company Director , GAICD – Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors, which she completed after receiving the Victorian Government Scholarship. She has served as elected Board Member of Victorian ICT Network for Women and the Board Director of Project Management Institute (PMI) Melbourne Chapter from 2011 to 2016.Priya has been driving initiatives to improve gender diversity, equality and career opportunities for women in ICT since 2001. She has nineteen years of experience in the technology and has enjoyed a successful career in Project, Program and Portfolio management. Priya has strong background within Banking, Higher Education and Government sectors. She has delivered end to end multi-million dollar projects and programs and led in-house as well as offshore teams. In 2013 and 2014, Australian Indian Executive Council listed Priya as the ‘Top five young female executive’ of the year in recognition of contribution towards gender diversity initiatives within ICT industry and commitment to support women in ICT. Priya holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics and Micro-engineering. She has received Chancellors Awards in 2001 and 2002 in recognition of community engagement programs. She has a Master’s degree in Business and IT (Distinction) and she is the recipient of RMIT grant for Business Globalisation Studies at Ryerson University in Canada. Priya is known for influencing positive working relationships in complex organisational structures with multi-vendor, matrix stakeholder groups and multi-customer environments. She has the ability to be the change leader and deliver complex change initiatives by creating receptive work environments and empowering people at all levels.
