INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:• Designed material storage system reduced inventory through material storage design• Used 5-S and Group Technology. • Factors like optimization, ergonomics and frequency of use were studied.• Monitors on key inventory metrics were established and reviewed procedures were put in place reducing handling time as well as significant reduction in inventory levels.
