Prior to establishing Advaya, Priyesh was a director in Bowmans' Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions practice (one of South Africa's "Magic Circle" law firms) where he advised both multi-national and local clients on a range of corporate law and commercial issues, including on domestic and cross border private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and black economic empowerment transactions, and provided general corporate and commercial support. Priyesh has gained comprehensive and multifaceted experiences and has advised clients across numerous sectors including telecommunications, industrial, health, and security. Priyesh has an excellent grasp of Company Law and Practice and is regarded as a trusted advisor by his clients. Priyesh has worked closely with various legal firms in Africa, giving him access to a network of professionals that can support cross-border transactions on the continent.​Priyesh holds a B. Proc, LLB degrees from the University of Witwatersrand and LLM degree from the then Rand Afrikaans University.
