About Paul Lisborg

A programmer by training, Paul Lisborg spent almost 2 decades programming software used by dentists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons. In 2003, Paul joined a small municipal utility company in Newnan, Georgia where he used the leading BI products of the day… Excel, Crystal Reports, and SSRS. In 2009, Paul was introduced to Tableau by future Zen Master Dan Murray. During that brief introduction, Dan and Paul created a customer service dashboard that tracked thousands of inbound calls to the service center. Paul was immediately hooked on Tableau and began developing dashboards with Tableau Desktop that same year. In 2013, he joined Oldcastle Architectural Products Group as Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics. He is a founding member of the Atlanta Tableau Users Group (ATUG) and managed the group for several years prior to joining Tableau in 2019. Currently, Paul serves as a Senior Customer Success Manager with Sigma Computing... empowering people to ask any question of their data. A former teacher, Paul has been a guest speaker at Georgia Tech, Emory University, and Georgia State University.
