With rapidly increasing network speeds, computing capacity, storage and inter-connectivity it simply means that possibilities are limited by our own imagination only, streamlining trillions of lines of coding is key here, one of the biggest challenges going forward.I am passionate about process controls and manufacturing automation, it’s what I have been doing for over 30 years.Technical & commercial roadblocks absolutely prevent us from embracing more of technology. Many might not realize the huge impact poor ad-hog coding has on immediate productivity outcomes and the longer-term implications when trying to keep up with today’s unprecedented pace of technology.The “black box phenomena” imply - no access to the growing number and complexity of software layers, many of which are inaccessible or locked away in propriety platforms. When systems and machines "hangs" (as when your computer stops responding) or coding changes are needed, it is like pulling teeth, getting help from far distant vendors, it can be extremely expensive, slow and yield very little, while you continue to be kept in the dark.Do you feel too, that this must change, to truly embrace a complete interconnected, freely flowing and scale-able future?
