A highly regarded dedicated professional working in the Financial Services industry for almost 24 years, predominantly spent within the sphere of Operations, Change and Technology. Regarded as an industry leader across Operations within Wealth and Asset Management. Actively involved in establishing best practice across the industry to elevate client and customer satisfaction. Most recently I was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AMP Capital Public Markets and a key member of the Executive Leadership Team helping to devise, drive and execute the corporate strategy. During a period of heightened change and M&A for the Public Markets business (~$165bn), I was responsible for driving all Transition and Transformation deliverables to support strategic outcomes, as well as overseeing our Investment Operations activities and delivering Regulatory changes for the entire business. The COO span of control consisted of c250 employees across a blend of Operations & Project teams – and a budget (including project spend) in excess of $100M per annum. Responsibility also included building a network of Third-Party providers to help deliver future state operating model, realise long term commercial benefits, and execute on transition activities. Passionate in the pursuit of opportunities to transform businesses and better foster technology, improve client outcomes, and define the roadmap to a new future state that supports growth in an efficient, sustainable way. My key strength is developing target operating models and implementing change programs that drive continuous improvement and meets organisations strategic goals. Recognised for building strong purpose led teams focused on high engagement and results. Maintaining personal values is of upmost importance, and creating a diverse, inclusive culture that allows individuals to contribute, collaborate and develop is always a priority, and is critical to the success of any business. I stand for integrity and fairness, and providing an opportunity for all to have a voice. Not always to agree with, but to listen to and learn from, to challenge and to support. Real transformation takes conviction, risk taking and wise judgement – but this is not possible without the trust of my team, and the ability to deliver on promises, and consistently perform business critical activities.
