We are an American surfboard company; a privately owned, independent label that has been shaping boards for surfers worldwide for over 30 years. We build boards taylor-made and custom tuned to the individual surfer, the types of waves they ride and where they want to go with their surfing. I personally work one-on-one with every kind of surfer for every different kind of wave and skill level worldwide. It is a different experience here. We help you be the surfer you are meant to be. We don’t categorize you simply by a height/ weight chart that figures out the liters your board should be, and send you off on your own to sort out which board model…a magic board is much more dynamic than that….more personal….I believe in one-on-one communication with your shaper…a place where the individual relational meets the scientific technical; to create crafts that link the energy of the ocean with the vision of the rider. I believe a magic board is as important and lifechanging to the working class surfers’ journey as it is to the best on the world’s talent scale. We are dedicated to using the best materials and methods available for construction, and I am continually thinking and innovating; inspired by my clients’ feedback and from my God above who rains down sweet brainstorms that keep design progression moving forward into the future. I believe a board is much more than ‘just a board’ with different labels on them. I believe there is a soul and meaning behind a company (at least there should be)….and that my job is more than a job; it is a calling….and a calling should never have as it’s end goal to see how it can accumulate the most money possible, or how to best position and build up it’s ego for display….these are empty pursuits.
