Using latest technology such as scala, akka, play & angular, I'm currently working on renovating the primary offering platform for equity, bond & structured investment.All aspect of the business are in scope, from field facing application, to the backend holding the business logic & validation. Challenge include extrating logic from 2 mainframe system & consolidating application in order to provide a unified & consistent set of tool & first class GUI for our field.

Took a year off, to enjoy parisien life, europe in general & take care of my new baby.Reporting directly to the head of operation, I was in charge of daily operation & execution.Accomplishment include among other, changing diaper in airplane, visiting museum with a crawling baby & getting my son to sleep on the train.

As part of the securitized product group team, I was responsible for a large portion of the software ecosystem used by the business to book & manage non cash trade. I also was a key leader in the Montreal SPG team and Montreal office. Application included multiple GUI, script, back-end & db using a wide array of technology, including JAVA, Perl, C#, Sybase, as well as batch, distributed & grid computing.Apart from the technical challenge, I enjoyed the interaction with all part of the business, including the challenge that come from meeting expectation of many clients with widely different priority. I also appreciated the opportunity to learn about the business, from bond trading to securitized product risk analysis.In addition to my official responsibility I had the pleasure of implicating myself in the Montreal office development. From interviewing potential hire, training other colleague on both financial or technical subject, been a part of the new office design team, developing project with graduate student or participating in regulatory and operational committee. I took every opportunity to grow my skill in a wide variety of area and develop my leadership skill both at a global level as well as at my team level.

Continuing my work as an employee for the firm, I successfully brought the old infrastructure to be decommissioned and continued to enhance the new system with feature to dramatically reduce the workload of trader, salesperson, controller & management. We eliminated many manual tasks which were done daily as well as a large part of the paper report.I also was implicated in a setting up a new netting system for the FX trading infrastructure.

As a consultant for Morgan Stanley I was responsible for developing and managing the existing software and infrastructure that was used by the Foreign Exchange trade at Morgan Stanley. The first year was spent fixing and stabilizing the existing infrastructure. Once the existing infrastructure was stabilized, I was responsible for developing a new infrastructure & decommission the old one. This included the backend and GUI as well as the data warehouse & overnight reporting.

Core developper on Web base application. Application include generic application ( CMS, CRM, Security, Web Controller ) as well as custom application.

Develop proof of concept for a new online payment system. Also help in documenting/analysing existing solution vs ours and improve our solution as well as find fraud possibility in the differents system.
