(5) Baseline Study on project to increase income of entrepreneurs by buffalo production in coastal chars (Hatia and Nijhum Dip) delivered.(6) Compiled issue-based news compilation and fact sheets on Agriculture, Climate Change, Climate Finance, Socio-Economic and Cultural Rights situation in Bangladesh and updated regularly.

    Online Knowledge Society have been working to bring the youth, volunteerism and online activism (online communication, online office, live streaming) agenda as mainstream programme in the development sector since 2009 when these issues were not popular and now the development organizations have realized about youth, volunteerism and online action. Youth and Social Media action are now mainstream development agenda.As a steering committee member of Democratic Budget Movement (2009-13), I have pro-actively participated in development of strategic plan for District Budget and Democratic Governance and facilitated also country wide campaign and policy advocacy at national level. As an outcome, it was the first time, the government had declared district budget in 2012-13 budget session. I have also proactively shared ideas and process to organize Global Economic Justice Forum (GEJF), 2008 and South Asia Social Forum (SASF), 2011. These events got global attention to the non-governmental activities of Bangladesh.

    Campaign for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods- CSRL, a National NGO network of about 250 NGOs around Bangladesh are working policy analysis, campaign and advocacy sector on agriculture, climate change and trade. The secretariat of the institution builds capacity of local NGOs and supports them to their local activities under agriculture, climate change and trade projects. ACHIEVEMENTS As a Secretariat Coordinator at Campaign for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods – CSRL, I have given strategic guidelines to develop and implement of `Comprehensive Agricultural Reform Programme- CARP’, grant made from Oxfam in Bangladesh and `Climate change transparency programme – CFTM’, grant made from PROKAS/British Council. The advocacy agenda of CARP programme was to declare the price of agricultural crops before the production and price commission. For influencing the national policy and laws related to the advocacy agenda, we took popular mobilization and innovative demonstration strategies, media advocacy, evidence creation and lobby activities. Within the years of programme implementation, government have formulated the policy to declare paddy and rice price before the production. Transparency and accountability as well as climate governance at local level was the practice change advocacy agenda for CFTM programme. For achieving the agenda for change of CFTM programme, we had taken the strategy to build local CSO network, development of local volunteer among youth and students, social audit, organizing climate fair, sensitization of local government institutions (LGIs). After implementing three-year long programme, there have established fruitful relation linkages between local CSO network named Jalbayu Parishad and District and Upazila Administration and together they monitored the climate programme accordingly.

    Karmojibi Nari (KN), a working women organization is working to establish labour rights at formal and informal sectors as a whole and to establish labour and women rights of working women in particular. RESPONSIBILITES:Research | Policy Analysis | Advocacy Programme Management | Cell Formation | Training of Cell Members | Reporting to Donors |As Coordinator – Research, Policy and Advocacy department at Karmojibi Nari (KN), I have established research, policy and advocacy department of Karmojibi Nari (KN). I have conducted three research on working women situation at formal sector, working women situation in informal sector and minimum wage of formal sector as advocacy evidences. The labour law 2006 combining 28 different labour related laws was formulated as our advocacy initiatives during 2003 to 2006. I have proactively participated in `the Make Trade Fair campaign’ with Oxfam in Bangladesh and established linkages with global network on working for labour rights. ACHIEVEMENTS (1) Labour Law 2006 formulated combining 38 different labour laws. (2) Established Policy, Research and Advocacy Unit at the organization and led and managed the personnel, programme and projects of the unit. (3) Formed about 50,000 cells (1) members unit) among working women around the Dhaka and it outskirts. (4) Developed Awareness Module, Organizers Module and Leadership Module for Training of Cell Members. (5) Capacitated 50,000 cells to facilitate labour rights campaign, particularly working women rights. (6) Conducted 3 researches on situation of labour rights in Bangladesh in formal sector, informal sector and agricultural sector. (7) Conducted baseline study on the working women in Bangladesh, November 2004. (8) Conducted study on condition of working women of informal sector in Bangladesh, 2005.
