Goodness gracious. This rocket ship ride has been exciting and turbulent for the last 13 years. When I started at BambooHR I had hair. Now, no hair.Ryan Sanders, co-founder of Bamboo, tried to get me to do contract work in the early days while I worked my full-time job. That didn’t work and I eventually joined BambooHR as employee number 3. Maybe it was 4. Doesn't matter.Yes, we’re related. Ryan was born first, and two years later I, weighing in at 10 lbs. 4 oz., came second (sorry Mom, love you).Starting at Bamboo, I wore many hats: support, implementation, and product. My onboarding consisted of Ryan handing me a Macbook so I could set my computer up over the weekend and hit the ground running on Monday.Fast forward a few years later and I’m part of a growing product team exclusively focused on the craft of product.It is a joy working with so many wonderful people. We’ve made some cool stuff together. I was the product part of the teams that built from scratch our ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Onboarding, and e-Signature features, and a few other things.
