Having risen from a modest rural background with limited access to education, I have built a career marked by relentless pursuit of excellence and groundbreaking achievements. My tenure at Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) led to the design and development of cutting-edge national defense electronic warfare systems, reflecting my dedication and technical expertise. These efforts have been recognized with prestigious accolades for innovation.Prof. M. Chandrashekar is deeply passionate about advancing education and research. His main objective is to bridge the gap between industry and academia, ensuring graduates are well-prepared and emerge as leaders in competitive industrial and corporate sectors.His professional journey, starting in a rural, underprivileged setting, is defined by excellence, leading to major contributions in the national defense sector. At BDL, from 1998 to 2019, he spearheaded R&D efforts that secured over 2 crores in individual funding and more than 50 crores for the R&D Division. His strategic leadership and innovative solutions generated over 100 crores in net R&D profits across two groundbreaking products.Parallel to his industrial success, Prof. Chandrashekar has established a strong academic research foundation. He has guided four PhD scholars and co-guided four more, fostering future researchers. Since 2000, he has chaired eight PhD final defenses at top institutions like Dr. MGR University, Pune University, and Osmania University. His academic contributions include overseeing 12 engineering PhD theses and 27 M. Tech projects and training over a thousand BE and B.Tech. students across India. His expertise is widely recognized, leading to invitations to over 100 institutes as a keynote speaker, resource person, and session chair at national and international conferences.
