I am a Professor of Innovation Management and New Product Development. I have published over thirty articles in top-ranked academic journals in the field of Innovation Management, including a number of articles in Research Policy which is a Financial Times Top 50 Journal. I have also raised over £1.5m in grant funding to work with organisations of all sizes to help them to innovate and grow. As a key part of my work, I collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to help organisations to achieve their strategic objectives and create new products that help to accelerate their growth. Most notably I have recently delivered a number of projects in the food sector, working with some of the countries fastest growing food SME's. My research specialises in the management of product development, design and innovation. I have particular expertise in low technology industries. I also work with small and large companies and coach their managers to helping them to design new products, innovate and ultimately to grow. I am widely published in a number of top marketing and innovation journals, including Research Policy, Technovation, European Journal of Marketing and R&D Management.
