I support leaders in professional service firms to increase their leadership effectiveness by leveraging behavioral science for improved leadership decisions and behavior. My interdisciplinary background in psychology and law and my deep expertise in the dynamics of decision-making and behavior allow me to effectively help leaders to lead even better, particularly in high-stakes situations.In international arbitration, I support lawyers when devising their strategy to leverage knowledge about psychological perspectives, thinking and feeling patterns of all parties involved.My areas of expertise are:- leveraging behavioral science for high positive impact in leadership in professional service firms- growing leaders' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral flexibility for improved decisions & behavior- strategies for sustainable leadership behavior change - practical implications of psychological dynamics in court hearings and international arbitration- witness and expert witness examination strategies in the legal and police context.Since 2004, I have worked with judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and police forces on the quality of their judgment with a special focus on cognitive and emotional influences on the decisions and ensuing behavior. I trained police forces to enable them to actively observe and influence their thinking, feeling and behavior, improve their examination skills and achieve valid statements, especially in high-stakes cases. I am Co-Director of the Center on the Legal Profession (CLP) at Bucerius Law School (Hamburg) and founder of the boutique consulting firm DEEP HUMAN SCIENCE (Berlin).
