About Prof Dr Morthy

Professor Dr Ramamurthy obtained his MBBS from Manipal University (India) and has been practicing Aesthetic Medicine since year 2000. He pursued his education in Dermatology (Cardiff) and obtained his Fellowship in Laser Surgery (Utah), Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery (Bangkok) and Cell Replacement Therapy (Geneva). He was appointed as a senior lecturer and later as the Head of Department and Professor of Aesthetic Medicine for MAHSA Medical University in Malaysia. He was awarded the Assured Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Science by City & Guilds of London Institute and Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from European International University (Paris), and the Letter of Credentialing & Privileging (Aesthetic Medicine) on an honorary basis by the Malaysian Ministry of Health in 2013. The esteemed Socrates Almanac Society (Oxford) also awarded him an honorary Diploma for his contributions for the intellectual progress of modern society. He is an international trainer and Key Opinion Leader for several products, including Algeness Dermal Filler, Decoria Dermal Filler, N-Finders PDO Thread and Dysport Abobotulinum Toxin. He is the Organizing Committee Member and Key Note Speaker for several Aesthetic Medical Conference Societies. He is on the editorial board for Acta-Scientific Journal and has published papers related to Pain Management in Aesthetic Medicine, Botulinium Toxin, Dermal Fillers and Lasers. His career achievements includes setting up several aesthetic practices such as DermaGenesis, Skin Club, Global Aesthetic, DAOS Aesthetic and subsequently merging the companies for listing. He successfully did a Joint Venture with DermaGenesis Malaysia and L'Oreal DermaGenesis, Paris in 2009.He is currently the chairman for International Institute Wellness & Aesthetic Medicine (Previously known as Aesthetic Academy Asia). He is also the President for DAOS Corporation (US) which provides an online learning platform in Aesthetic Medicine. He is an excellent aesthetic practitioner, trainer and motivates and aspires other doctors and practitioners to start a career in Aesthetics.
