Professor Supa Pengpid was a Director (from 1 June 2013 to 31 May 2017) of ASEAN Institute for Health Development, based in Thailand. She was Head of The Department of Health System Management and Policy at School of Public Health, University of Limpopo, South Africa. She was previously working Health Education Specialist at the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand for 15 years. She is a health behavioural researcher and public health educator over 15 years of experiences in various health risk behaviours, health promotion and prevention, health systems research and evaluation internationally. She was a Project Leader: of Public Health Intervention research projects, under Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR-IUC), Belgium 2010-2013. She has published about 100 articles, 5 books and book chapters.
