Senior Examiner
CurrentAs a Senior Commissioned Bank Examiner, I serve as examiner in charge (EIC) of examinations or inspection of small to medium size financial institutions and participates in exams and inspections of the largest or most complex financial institutions by evaluating risk management practices, operations & internal controls, MIS systems, audit coverage, and management. Further I compile and analyze data, formulating conclusions, preparing comments on findings and recommendations, assisting in the preparation and review of examination or inspection reports, and preparing and reviewing work papers. When serving as the EIC, I direct the conduct of the exam or inspection; plan, organize, and control the work activities, including supervision of assigned staff; supervise the preparation of a comprehensive exam/inspection report within a scheduled time frame; discuss conclusions with the senior management of the institution and, when necessary, its board of directors.
