I have experience teaching a variety of courses in a variety of modalities (face-to-face, synchronous and asynchronous online, and hybrid). Currently I am pursuing research in the design of gamified systems, gamification in information systems education, and information systems and social justice. Additionally, I have become a Lego Serious Play Certified Facilitator and am pursuing research with the methodology. I have research published in such journals as: the European Journal of Information Systems, MIS Quarterly Executive, Information & Management, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, and AIS Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction.While in industry I programmed SQL and VBA inside of Microsoft Access, and was the systems analyst for the development of online databases that served physicians and public health researchers. My aim is to leverage my knowledge and expand my skill sets as I continue to research, teach and publish in the information systems and related interdisciplinary domains.
