I provide opportunities for native, heritage, and non-native speakers of Spanish to communicate in authentic and meaningful activities that simulate real-life situations. To achieve this and have my students make progress towards Language and Intercultural Proficiency, I use the target language extensively and genuinely encourage my students to do so as well. My instruction is student-centered and differentiates for multiple learning styles, preferences, and needs. I am committed to creating a classroom climate where all students feel welcomed and safe to ultimately provide them with the best opportunity to be successful and to share in my knowledge and love for Spanish Language, Culture, and Literature.
