About Eric Appel

My primary affiliation is in Materials Science & Engineering at Stanford University, but I hold courtesy appointments in Bioengineering and Pediatrics-Endocrinology. My research group is a multidisciplinary engineering laboratory focusing on the development of novel biomimetic supramolecular (bio)materials technologies. We aim to exploit these materials both to solve fundamental biological questions and to generate advanced solutions to pressing healthcare challenges.
