Three month contract, worked in full, at which time I decided to leave the company to become the primary caretaker for my terminal father.

I started with Fastenal as a part time associate in a Sales Support role, but displayed a grasp of product knowledge, company core values, and work ethic that got me promoted in just twenty-eight days of employment. In my first quarter as an Outside Sales Professional, I saw the number of accounts in my name go from eighty-three to 134, and posted numbers good enough for third in my district overall.

Over the course of the whitewater season I was primarily responsible for the assessment, consultation, and sale of adventure packages for clients looking to whitewater raft, paddle board, kayak, or take a guided 4x4 tour off-road in the mountains of Southwest Colorado. I have personally set the two highest sales day records for this 32 year old company, and assisted in tripling our revenue in just three quarters over last year. In addition to sales, I also act as a certified guide for this company.

As a flowback hand in the oil and gas industry, I was responsible for collecting, measuring, and calculating the production of water, oil, and natural gas from the assigned well. When necessary, I also arranged trucks for shipping, and assisted in various other tasks as needed.

Over the course of my almost six years I have managed merchandising, operational, and specialty departments taking pride in learning and mastering every facet of the business. As a supervisor it was my responsibility to train and develop my associates to the standards provided by Home Depot.
