Full-Time outpatient care conducted in this clinic. I assist adult individuals, children, adolescents, and couples with their presenting concerns. I use a fully-stocked play-therapy room, and a separate sand-tray therapy room to assist my younger clients with expressing themselves. A comfortable, well-appointed counseling suite is used to help adults and couples process their goals and challenges. As a multi-disciplinary agency, I am able to gain valuable insights and enrichment from my colleagues.

Full-time outpatient care conducted in the clinic, part-time EAP work conducted both on-site and in the clinic, and some Skilled Nursing Facility care conducted on-site with clients. I worked mostly with adults struggling through faith transitions, marital dissolutions, and mood related disorders. In addition, I also gained substantial experience performing couples' counseling at this location.

Individual psychotherapy/counseling practice specializing in families, children, and adolescents. Primary focus: Divorce/relationship problems, childhood oppositional/defiant disorder, mood disorders, autism spectrum difficulties, and developmental/academic support. I employed a mixture of play/art therapy to help my younger clients, along with a warm. client-centered approach to help adults.

Outpatient counseling agency, primarily specializing in adolescent and adult psychosexual issues. Primary focus: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sexual Addiction treatment, and societal reintegration from incarceration. I also had the opportunity to run groups and otherwise work closely with a variety of professionals with a diverse academic background, including: PhD's, PsyD's, CSW's, CMHC's and ACMHC's.

As a counselor on the clinical staff of the Adult Residential inpatient program, I managed cases and facilitated group and individual therapy. I also participated in staff feedback meetings three times weekly, and helped with program design and improvement. I gained experience in Salt Lake County reporting and funding authorizations (UWITS), and ASAM assessment. I participated in the therapeutic community modality, and I administered interventions related to addressing personality disorders and substance abuse concerns. I had the opportunity to assist clients across the long-term continuum of care, starting with admittance into the program, and ending in transitions into sober-living arrangements.

As a member of the Guest Relations Team, I assisted the Program Manager with the programmatic aspects of the drug-treatment program. As a member of the therapeutic milieu, I also modeled the appropriate behaviors that contributed to the residents recovery from substance dependence, and helped execute the daily logistics of program management.

I operated my own company installing home theaters, whole-house audio, security systems, security cameras, and home automation systems. I was able to learn the simpler aspects of managing a business.

As a part-time member of the clinical staff treating adults with substance abuse issues, I co-led groups, performed my first individual counseling sessions, learned case management, obtained funding re-authorizations, conducted intake assessments, and participated in staff feedback consultations.

Performed behavioral interventions administered to children diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ages 2-6). The position enlarged my ability to hold firm yet encouraging boundaries with children. Focus: ABA, ADOS administration, & ASD diagnosis,

I assisted the therapeutic preschool specialists with attachment building, psychodynamic, and behavioral interventions. This was also for an undergraduate thesis project paper entitled: Peer Deviance Training in Toddlers: An observational comparison with the established adolescent research model.
