Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed Bhuiyan has been selected as a member of the International Advisory council for the Marketing Professions (IACMP). He has also been selected in editorial and review board of the Interantional Journal of Marketing Principles and Practices (IJMPP). He is also in the editorial boards of some other international journals. Professor Bhuiyan did his Ph.D. from University of Chittagong. Recently, one book of Bhuiyan published from Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany on “Entrepreneurship Development in Bangladesh: Effectiveness of Support Services”. He visited many academic institutions including Harvard University, U.S.A; Indian School of Business; Indian Institute of Management (IIM), India; Pondicherry University, Pune University, India; and Royal Institute of Management, Thimpu, Bhutan for presenting research papers and other academic purposes. He is interested to concentrate his future research in the area of entrepreneurship, strategic management, organization development and change management in the global context with special focus on Bangladesh perspective. The notable academic and professional journals where the research articles of Dr. Bhuiyan have been published are Asian profiles, Canada; International Business Research Papers, Australia;Ooi Teaching Journal of Junior Academy, U.S.A; Chittagong University Journal of Business Studies, Bangladesh; Journal of Bankers, Bangladesh; Bangladesh Insurance Academy Journal, Bangladesh; Leading University Journal of Business, Science and Society and Sylhet International University Journal, Bangladesh.Dr. Bhuiyan attended in different national and international conferences. The hobby of Mr. Bhuiyan is study, build networking relationship in the academic and professional area, travel to different places and make friendship throughout the world.Specialties: The concentration of Dr. Bhuiyan in teaching at B.B.A and M.B.A programs is HRM. The research articles have been authored or co-authored by Dr. Bhuiyan published in different journals and books cover the area of entrepreneurship and small enterprise development, entrepreneurship & technology nexus, networking and support services for entrepreneurship development, entrepreneurship and NGOs, quality assurance in higher education, insurance and organizational behavior.
