About David Sparling
By far the best part of my job has always been the interactions with students. Student advising as well as mentoring the students into producing high-quality productions in television, radio and a myriad of multimedia formats were a highlight for me. Seeing a student discovering their voice in this world and then being successful is why I’m here. Continuing professional development is important both as an educator and as a mentor. I believe that pursuit helped me to become a more creative teacher and impacted my students’ achievements. With a master’s degree in Teaching with Technology and now an MFA in Film and Television I am able to continue my development for the benefit of the student.
