I am a professor of accounting at Beijintg International Studies University, in Beijing, China. I teach Undergraduate, MBA and MPACC including Strategy, Doing Business in China, Managing the MNC in China, and Financial Statement Analysis, and International Finance.I blog at www.chinaaccountingblog.com. I have testified before the U.S.-China Security and Economic Commission, the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, and the OECD. I was a member of the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board from 2012-2013 My book, The Big Four and the Development of the Accounting Profession in China was published by Emerald Publishing in January 2014. I retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2004 following a 28 year career in the United States, Singapore and China.
