I have worked in a variety of fields throughout my life such as sales, marketing, events and management but through my own life experiences I discovered my passion for the Care sector and Mental Health moved to Nottingham in 2014 to care for my mother whilst working full time over a 6 year period. This gave me significant insight into the care industry and how important it is to be non-judgmental, having empathy, to deliver person centred care. It has inspired me to train and develop my knowledge in the mental health sector. In December I completed Level 1 in Health and social care. I have worked on the front-line of mental health services, supporting female and male patients in a Medium Secure Acute ward. I have also worked with induvial in supported living within the community in which person centred care, writing care plans and liaising with family and care and support organisations, was paramount in delivering the best outcomes. I would like to combine all of my skills and knowledge and use them in a way that would best benefit an organisation and the most vulnerable in society.
