Developing the sustainability report of a phosphor mining company (workshops, materiality analysis, stakeholder analysis)

Supports various organizations by conducting literature reviews (e.g., women's health and safety in the small-scale gold mining sector), interviews and surveys, to name just some of the methods I use.My goal is to provide these organisations with the state-of-the-art in research to understand the complex issues related to sustainable development and bridge the gap between research and practice.I am particularly interested in the responsible management of supply chains and the minerals sector, but I am always curious to explore new topics.

• Analyze and map mercury trade between countries by obtaining information from the UN Statistics Division (UNSD) “Comtrade” database, www.mercurywatch.org and other appropriate sources • Improve understanding of mercury trade in the ASGM sector and propose improved inventory methods as a means to evaluate progress in reducing mercury use and trade • Undertake literature reviews and interviews with national officials, small mining sector stakeholders, mercury traders and others • Examine existing and potential opportunities to use gold supply-chain mechanisms to reduce mercury use in the sector and control mercury trade • Research the latest information relevant to the UNEP study “Environment for Development Perspectives: Mercury use in Artisanal and Small Scale Gold Mining” and update the document accordingly • Provide overall support to the Global mercury partnership’ s outreach and communication
