About Rebecca (Beccy) Rodger Mba Pgdip Cbcp

Following a long career in technology management and leadership I pivoted my career in 2021 and entered my current role as global head of employee experience. Given the opportunity to work on a real business problem as part of my MBA, LexisNexis, like most other organizations was concerned with how we onboard new hires during Covid, and how we continue to grow engagement and connection to our culture as we transitioned to our current hybrid ways of working. Spotting an opportunity to drive permanent change and influence positive outcomes for my colleagues, whilst also contributing to improving business outcomes I successfully pitched a plan to create a new business function dedicated to our Employee Experience. The first 12-18 months was primarily concerned with designing and implementing our Ignite onboarding program. Since then, I’ve expanded the EX function and welcomed a Product Manager into the new EX Manager position. We’ve added Early Careers to our portfolio and conducted research to understand some of our employee personas and their needs to create a catalogue of initiatives. We’re expanding our team in 2024 to welcome a Technology Lead into our second EX Manager position. At the time of writing, Employee Experience is a lean team of three (including myself) who matrix manage/lead across our organization; collaborating with colleagues from HR, Talent Development, Technology, Product, UX, Operations, CX etc. We are in the process of formalizing the LexisNexis approach to Employee Experience by adopting and adapting the Silicon Valley Product Group methodology.

Listed skills include Disaster Recovery, Change Management, Business Continuity, Data Center, and 29 others.
